CARLOS GARAVITO / AI TRANSFORMATION LEADER

From AI potentialto operational reality.

Helping creative organizations turn Generative AI into practical, repeatable workflows that people actually use.

Making AI operational.

“I start with the workflow around a pilot: who owns the decision, which constraints matter, where human review belongs, and what evidence would make the approach worth repeating.”

OUTPUTA clear problem statement
OUTPUTA decision-ready plan
OUTPUTEvidence from real use
OUTPUTAn operating workflow
OUTPUTA better next version

An approach to the work, adapted to each organization and its constraints.

EXHIBIT DESIGN ENGINE

Designing AI-enabled
creative workflows.

INTERNAL PRODUCT / IMPLEMENTED TOOL · DEPLOYMENT AND ADOPTION NOT VERIFIEDINTERNAL TOOL · DEPLOYMENT/ADOPTION UNVERIFIED

Exhibit teams need to weigh a brief, brand references, spatial constraints, and possible directions together. At ASTOUND, I conceived the Exhibit Design Engine in my Director, Creative Innovation role to support creative and design teams during early concept work.

An internal tool was implemented for this stage. Its workflow is shown below; generated views were candidates for human assessment, not approved designs or photographs of built installations.

“The lesson was to make constraints and human decisions visible in the workflow, rather than ask a generated image to carry the whole design process.”

Briefs, reference assets, requirements, and spatial constraints establish the creative problem before directions are generated.

Building with Generative AI.

Practical experimentation matters when it is tied to a process
people can understand, repeat, and improve.

Through CommandAlpha_Studios, I develop generative creative workflows and multimodal prototypes. In self-directed cgOS Application Studio and Job Tracker work, I guide product and architecture decisions while AI-assisted development supports implementation and workflow automation. I test and review the resulting workflows before treating them as ready for use.

“A useful prototype makes the inputs, constraints, generated work, and human decision visible to the people who will use it.”

01Creative intent

Define the idea, constraints, and standards before generation.

02Repeatable production

Structure inputs, variations, checkpoints, and asset provenance.

03Human judgment

Evaluate output against the brief and decide what moves forward.

EXPLORE AI WORKFLOWS & PROJECTS

From AI technology
to human experience.

Technology creates value only when it fits the needs of the people and organizations using it.

As VP / Chief Experience Officer at conversationHEALTH, I led experience strategy, product design, and conversational UX for AI-enabled healthcare and pharmaceutical voice-assistant experiences. Working with product, technical, medical, and business stakeholders, I translated complex requirements into usable journeys and interface decisions.

“More than 20 years across creative, product, and transformation roles inform how I frame decisions for executives and connect specialists around the work.”

Selected work demonstrates how an AI-assisted process can hold creative ambition and production controls together. Each example is labeled by its documented status.

NORTH WATER concept visual showing a sparkling water can at a mountain lake01 / SELF-INITIATED CONCEPT

COMMANDALPHA_STUDIOS · CONCEPT

NORTH WATER

A fictional brand used as a reference implementation for a governed generative production workflow. Carlos is credited at the project level with creative direction and AI production. This is concept work, not a client campaign.

CREATIVE OBJECTIVE

Develop a restrained premium sparkling-water identity and a master creative that could guide controlled campaign variations.

PRODUCTION METHOD

Approved brand and product references informed a mountain-lake visual world. The Original-to-LIME variation was specified to preserve composition, packaging, and the printed can surface while changing only defined SKU attributes.

VERIFICATION BOUNDARY

The reference implementation documents internal quality-gate testing. It does not establish a client campaign or market result.

COMMANDALPHA_STUDIOS · REFERENCE IMPLEMENTATION

ENGINE v1.0

A documented architecture for staged AI-assisted content production, including quality gates, approval, and provenance. Its reference work does not establish external deployment or adoption.

CREATIVE PROCESS

The architecture connects the brief and brand system to a master creative, controlled inheritance, defined variables, and production.

HUMAN DIRECTION

Quality checks compare candidates with approved visual references and recommend revision or review. Final authorization remains a human decision.

PRODUCTION CONSIDERATIONS

Approved assets carry identity, status, version, and provenance. NORTH WATER is the documented fictional reference implementation; external use is unverified.

WATCH MY GENERATIVE AI REEL

If I joined tomorrow.

I would focus first on helping Pencil's clients move from promising AI pilots to repeatable workflows that deliver measurable value.

  1. 01

    Understand the engagement

Establish the client's business objectives, existing workflows, stakeholder landscape, technical constraints, and definition of success.

  2. 02

    Build the transformation thesis

Translate discovery into clear hypotheses, prioritized opportunities, sequenced workstreams, and a practical implementation roadmap.

  3. 03

    Design for adoption

Work with Forward Deployed Engineers and Creative Leads to prototype repeatable workflows, define human review checkpoints, and prepare teams to use them confidently.

  4. 04

    Measure and improve

Define meaningful adoption, time-to-value, quality, and performance indicators. Use implementation feedback to refine recommendations and inform Product and Engineering.

  5. 05

    Codify what works

Turn successful engagement patterns into reusable Transformation Blueprints that could help Pencil scale implementation quality across clients.

Let's make AI work.

Creative transformation requires clear strategy, practical implementation, and people who know how to bring both together.
